  Winner of the Kate Alderson award, with month-long internship at The Australian in Sydney (awarded by The Times).
• Th!nk About It, European Blogging Competition – June 2009
  Winner of the first ever pan-European blogging contest, beating 80 other competitors from all 27 EU member states – a four-month project blogging about the European elections. Organised by the European Journalism Centre.

  Part of the team shortlisted for the Guardian’s ‘Student newspaper of the year 2007’

  Awarded ‘Best News Writer’

• Shorthand – 110 words per minute (and award for first on course to reach 100 wpm)
